Learners at Kwa-Guqa Primary School received a welcome boost this week when the Emalahleni Local Municipality, in collaboration with mining giant Glencore and OTRACO, handed over brand-new school shoes to pupils in need.
The event, spearheaded by the Office of the Speaker, Councillor Millicent Shabangu, and Ward Councillor Rudolf Mekoa, brought smiles and relief to many families. The donation aims to ensure that learners attend school comfortably and confidently, highlighting how collective efforts between government, private partners, and the community can make a tangible difference in children’s lives.
